Vatike privacy policy

Vatike shows Estonian electricity exchange prices. It is built to work without collecting anything about you.

What Vatike collects

Nothing. Vatike has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The developer receives no data from the app.

What stays on your iPhone

Downloaded prices and your settings (meter resolution and alert choices) are stored only on your iPhone, shared between the app and its widgets. Deleting the app deletes them.

Network requests

To get prices, the app and its widgets request public price data directly from Elering, Estonia’s transmission system operator. Like any website, Elering’s servers can see your device’s IP address when a request is made. No personal information is sent. See Elering’s privacy notice.

Notifications and Siri

Price alerts are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone; no push service is used. If you ask Siri for the price, Apple processes your request under Apple’s privacy policy.

Children

Vatike does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page.
